Virginia Campus-Based Business Degrees

The following campus-based colleges offer Business degrees for Virginia students:

Radford University offers an MBA program on campus that is ideal for young professionals who are just starting on their business careers. They typically choose the Radford program because of its flexibility and quality. Most students in the two year program have fewer than five years of business experience, but they are a very diverse group. Some students have between five and 20 years of business experience, and come from around the world. Full time MBA students usually have classes from Monday to Thursday. This leaves Friday for students to study and to participate in many professional development opportunities on campus.

Students also may choose to earn the part time MBA with students in the evenings at convenient locations in Roanoke and Radford. In both programs, students cite dynamic interaction with faculty as a major factor in choosing Radford to earn their MBA. All graduate faculty have top level professional credentials, and they bring that experience into the class, and they merge the real time work environment with the academic, so the curriculum is fused with relevance.

Required courses for the full and part time MBA programs include:

  • Accounting for Decision Making and Control
  • Organizational Behavior and Managerial Skills
  • Operations Management
  • Financial Management
  • Marketing Management
  • Managerial Economics
  • Strategic Management
