If you have a solid foundation in business basics, you may be able to leverage that knowledge and get your MBA faster. Also, if you possess a recent undergraduate business degree, you may be able to be admitted to the one year advanced standing MBA program.
To qualify, you must have earned the bachelor’s in business in the past seven years, and have the ability to take 7.5 credits per semester. If you are admitted, you can waive up to 15 credit hours of preparatory MBA courses.

University has low overall score in US News Rankings
The US News and World Report rankings for the University of Dayton are relatively low; the university has a total score of 45 out of 100. It also is only ranked as the #124th best national university. These rankings suggest this school is not highly regarded at least in comparison to many other programs. Other schools in the state are ranked higher, such as Miami University (#78) and Ohio State (#54).
On a related note, the online MBA program is unranked in US News and World Report. Therefore it is difficult to compare the quality of the program to its competitors.
Immersions are required
All MBA students must attend at least two immersions, one of which is on campus in the first year. Others occur at other sites; there is one in Portland, OR in June 2018 and another in San Jose CA in September 2018.
The immersions are very valuable parts of the Dayton MBA experience, but they can be challenging for some students to attend.
