THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD UNTIL APRIL 1st, 2021.
As a way of giving back to the higher education community, we now offer (2) $1,500.00 scholarships to the most deserving students pursuing their degree in the field of business. Our merit-based scholarships are awarded every spring and fall to help students pay for the expenses of their online or campus-based education. These scholarships are open to any student that is currently enrolled in undergraduate, graduate or doctorate level programs. Students who are currently enrolled in qualified business programs are encouraged to apply. The business program must be part of the business department or business school of the university. Any programs outside of a business department or business school will not qualify.

Completing the Application is Easy
Business school candidates who are interested must submit the BusinessStudent.com application and an original essay.
The essay must be between 800-1000 words, and submitted through the form below. All essays must be formatted correctly.
The criteria considered for selection of these scholarships in the written essay is your ability to write a strong answer. This answer will directly respond to the essay question. You must be able to provide insights based upon facts to support your answer.
Any applications that have false information or plagiarized essays are disqualified immediately.
Students can only apply twice in any 12-month period! If you are not chosen we encourage you to resubmit your exact application.
Information Required
The following information is required on your online application. You will not be able to submit the application until all required sections are complete. Once an application has been submitted you may not change anything.
First/Last Name, Email Address, University, University Address, GPA, Work Experience, Activities, Essay Question
All information will be verified at the time of the selection process.
Scholarship Due Dates
The scholarship deadlines will be May 1st and October 1st of each year. There is no cost to apply. Applications now being accepted for our May 1st deadline 2019!!

Selection Criteria
Applications will be reviewed by our scholarship staff. Candidates are judged on academic history, extracurricular activities, employment history & essay.
Here is a quick break down of all criteria involved in picking winning candidates:

- GPA (min 3.2 on a 4.0 scale)
- You must be a current student at an accredited US University or College. Online programs are acceptable.

Announcing the Winner
Winners of the Businessstudent.com scholarships will be notified within 30 days of the close of the application deadline. Winners will be notified by email and regular mail. The chosen applicant will be required to provide transcripts from their most recent college or university to verify their GPA. If the candidate cannot supply the necessary records, or if the GPA is different from the GPA that was claimed on the application, Businessstudent.com can rescind the scholarship award and give it to an alternate applicant.
The scholarship award will only be paid by check directly to a qualifying program, such as a four-year university. The award must be paid within 30-days of notification to the winner.
Checks will NOT be sent directly to the student.
Scholarship recipients’ names will be posted on a page of the Businessstudent.com website.

Q: When is this scholarship offered?
A: It is offered two time a year with due dates of May 1st, and October 1st.
Q: Do you need a letter of recommendation for this scholarship?
A: Letters of recommendation are neither required nor accepted for this scholarship.
Q: Is there a cost involved in submitting an application?
A: There is no cost involved.
Q: What do we mean by “qualified”?
A: We require our applicants to be currently enrolled in an accredited online or campus based 4 year business program.
Q: Can international students apply?
A: International students are not eligible to apply for this scholarship unless they are attending a domestic university.
Q: Which part of the scholarship application is the most important?
A: The essay portion of the scholarship is graded the highest along with grade point average.
Q: Is this program available to Military personnel?
A: All military are welcome.

Q: How do I know if my degree program qualifies for this scholarship?
A: If the degree program is under the umbrella of a business school or business department, it will qualify.
Q: Where will the scholarship award check be sent?
A: All checks are sent directly to the university, college or school. This is primarily a protection for all students so there are no tax issues.

A: If your degree is under the business school or business department of your college or university, you will qualify.
Q: Why don’t you post pictures of the scholarship winner?
A: Out of privacy to our student winners, we will only include the school crest or logo, first name and last initial.
Staying Organized
Applying for scholarships can be an overwhelming process. Many students apply for multiple scholarships. Here are some tips to help you keep track of your applications:
- Track packages
- Keep copies of all essays and paperwork in a file
- Have transcripts handy, or know how to send them to scholarship offices
- Keep other important forms, such as tax returns (yours or your parents’), financial aid forms, standardized test scores and letters of recommendation on hand
- As soon as you submit a scholarship application, make note of that in your spreadsheet, as well as the date of submission.
